The 'mdevcon code placeholder' has become a bit of a thing. Originally it was a geeky placeholder when we decided to do a conference but had no site yet. The code represented the process of organizing the conference. Later our designer incorporated it as a visual clue on the mdevcon homepage (see the top right corner of the site), to indicate that we target developers and are a tech conference. We then actually made a github repo, just for the fun of it.
Some people actually contributed fixes, and in november 2014, mdevcon regular visitor Berick Visschers contributed a port to Swift. :)
