When we started organizing the conference, we had an initial brainstorm session and we said ‘Which speaker is a must have at this conference?’, and we almost unanimously said ‘Jeff LaMarche’. We are proud to announce that Jeff agreed to speak and is the first name we can confirm!

If you are doing iPhone development, chances are that you’ve learned a thing or two from Jeff. Jeff’s books and blog are a great source for help and inspiration. If you don’t know Jeff: here’s how he describes himself:

“Jeff LaMarche is the author of several books on iOS and Mac programming and a principal at MartianCraft, LLC, a software development firm focused on Mobile and Mac development software. He maintains a technical blog on iOS software development at http://iphonedevelopment.blogspot.com and speaks at several conferences a year.”

We are confident Jeff will be a great asset to the first edition of mdevcon, and we hope he’ll enjoy Appsterdam enough that he’ll come back for more!

The mdevcon call for papers is still open and we have many slots still to fill, so if you have ideas for a technical talk (iPhone, Android and other platforms are welcome) please go ahead and send us a CFP entry.

Early bird tickets for mdevcon are available (and will continue to be available until the CFP has finished); if you want to be a part of the very first Mobile Developers Conference in Appsterdam, get your tickets here.
